I though I would share a recent pic of one of my favorites. It is a Joe Strain 12 footer whiskey color. I posted about it nine years ago when I first purchased it http://indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=42996" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It has darkened up nicely over the years and is still tight as a drum. As Joe has no longer been making whips consistently, this was an awesome find and I´ve enjoyed it for all these years.
It would be great to see how other people´s whips have been aging through the years.
Thanks bearbeast.
I take it out when the weather is nice and sometimes crack it in the gym. Here is another pic with its little brother, a ten year old Strain 10 footer in natural tan. The color for the other one I believe was saddle tan, and not whiskey as I stated before. In any case it is now has that purplish tinge. Sort of reminds me of the color of the whip from Crystal Skull.
Cheers
