As you can see, it's a Wested. Antique Lambtouch. Distressed myself & recently put in washing machine.
If anyone can tell me how to make the lower back look like the leather above the yoke, I would appreciate it. It has that 'marbled predistresed' look to it that I don't much care for.
This photo had some altering of the photo to make it look this good; this is what I want it to look like though.
This is what the jacket really looks like. I am trying to get it to look like the first photo.
I give up on the sideways photos, I can not for the life of me figure out how to get it to rotate vertically. ....pure luck on the first photo trying to use a different app that rotates each picture the way you want; I just can't reproduce it with consistency. Advice...keep it simple if ya do.

I think it's it's a design flaw in the Wested pattern. The armholes are too low, and they pretty much all do that. It's the only thing I don't like on my LC.
Worth noting that the flying squirrel effect is common in period jackets too. I have had several vintage jackets that behave this way. It's a common pattern flaw. The really well designed patterns don't do it.

All my Wested LC, ToD and Hero do it except the Raiders. My Schott half belt, Aero half belt, and Vanson also do it.
