I had a Steele & Jones LC as well and the brim was a little too big. I trimmed off 1/4" all the way around & it took on a much more 'LC Indy' look. I'd start with trimming off 1/8" first and see if that doesn't help. You'd be amazed at how cutting that little bit off will change the appearance.

I wouldn't cut the brim, the specs are right. But the LC hat had all different specs almost from scene to scene. What is your head measurements? And can you post a side view without the hat on?

With a LC im not sure. With a Raiders style, giving it the turn helps shape this bend. With a LC I would have to defer to someone who had a LC fedora and had this bend in place.
