Question about boots...

I recently bought some winter boots, lace-up. I've looked... didn't there used to be a means of making the top few, hooks instead? The "rubber shoelace" options I can find, don't thrill me... TIA for any help!

Do you mean to make them speed lace hooks? You might be able to buy some and rivet them in the existing holes, but they may be too large. The speed hooks will turn a bit then.

Exactly. I thought I once saw an ad for sort of panels of perhaps four hooks that could be positioned to serve in place of the grommet lacings.

Or perhaps there are other options?
