Bear in mind the picture posted a few posts above is our new skin offering GOATSKIN.
The next merino batch will be the exact same color as the first batch.

Re: Show your STEELE & JONES "Cazadora '36"
LC prototype jacket already cutted.
Waiting in the line to be assembled.
Any time soon, we'll get from the workshop the last ToD jackets from the first batch order.
Then, the LC jackets go into production.
We work in a very small scale. But 100 % custom and personalized.
That kind of service takes time, or money.
We prefer to invest some time, and make Indyfans to save their money...
I'll keep you posted!
Happy easter!

Re: Show your STEELE & JONES "Cazadora '36"
Kinda "nostalgic" post.
All the Merino from the first batch is gone.
The one we bought in Montevideo (Uruguay), 1100 km in less than 24 hs trip...
Hiding skins between the bottom of the trunk car and the spare tire when crossing border, and fingers crossed (lack of costum permission to import leather...)
What an adventure.
This shows what we did with those skins, in some of our jackets.
This is how PETER B. did it back in 1980.
This is how we do it (clic to enlarge)
NEW MERINO BATCH COMING SOON!!!
Cheers.-

Noticed #18 & #22 have the wider collars, while #21 really nails it. Is this the difference between the Hawaii & Hero? Good work here, Diego!

Re: Show your STEELE & JONES "Cazadora '36"
I don't think there's too much difference in the measurements between the Hawaii and the Hero.Texan Scott wrote:Noticed #18 & #22 have the wider collars, while #21 really nails it. Is this the difference between the Hawaii & Hero? Good work here, Diego!
IMO, it was a difference in construction method more than a pattern difference.
And of course, the way it was used/folded/breaked.-
PS: for me, #21 was too small. But it was a specific custom request. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.-

I thought we were going to be seeing quite a few more photos from private owners of their LC Steele & Jones Indy jackets.
Seems like mine was about the only one shown on here.
