My eldest daughter has (and still wears and loves) a Wested Raiders from 1997 I gave her many years ago.

It's been on many archaeological digs and through 14 years of college, and still holding up great!

Not bad for a lambskin, but I honestly think it was a bit thicker back then than the current issue.

I have two Expedition prototypes (lambskin and goatskin) that are showing their age (2000-2001'ish), and they, too, are holding up great.

It would be great to see them, document how they have aged, and it just reinforces the idea that if a guy gets a new jacket, and maybe something is not too SA about it, hang in there and put some mileage on it. The most important thing is that it becomes the Indy styled jacket for you, not for an ideal.

I have an 11-year old cowhide Expedition jacket that has been on many hikes in Georgia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Illinois. It has also been worn & traveled to many, many other places as well.

I believe I purchased this jacket from G&B back in 2003, might have been Flightsuits back then. Anyway, here are the links ...
