It makes me think of the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles hat. In the first episode where young indy wears a fedora, it looks quite similar to this one, and the ribbon seems to have the same wideness as the young Indy hat.

That's still so beautiful, Ron. That is a hat that you have kept more as a collector's item it seems such that it does not suffer from all the shrinking and distortion a worked over HJ succumbs to.

The more time goes by the more I love seeing that hat!

Baddates, The young indy hat kind of makes me laugh, cause the hat was kind of big on young indy but the shape and creases reminds me of the Templeof Doom bridge scene though. Hi darthjones do you have pics of your old 1984 hj, cant wait to see them, let me guess the liner must be a dark blue crest but the same Old Burlington address though. RNomura I love the way the shape of the hat looks, that must be a real poet, I think mines is a Grosvenor, but I wonder why my 1986 hj liner looks different with the red pentagon from your 1988 hj liner with the blue crest liner that was used around the late 70s and earlier 80s

I was thinking exactly the same. Same bow-style too. If it only had a little wider brim..

I don't have that 1984 hj anymore. I sent it back to Swales for a reblock and, instead of dealing with that, he just sent me a new hat which was total TOD era. I was okay with it but the 1984 hat looked a lot more Raiders to me. And yes, it did have the dark blue crest.

Now both of them are gone because I actually dang used them!
