My Gear : Large Pics ; not accurate
I don't have much gear yet, but here is what I have. Sorry for the large pics, I don't know how to resize to smaller.
Any help would be appreciated, but if you have advice could you please not use the short hand lingo because I get lost with all this LC, ROTLA, USW, OTA...etc??
I want a Last Crusade style jacket that looks like the scene of Harrison & Connery on the motorcycle about to go to Berlin.
I have been on these boards learning a lot, so thanks already.
My gear so far :
Alden 403's (bought July 2013)
L.L. Bean Dark Khaki Wrinkle Resistant Dress Chino Pleated Front Standard Fit (not as Dark as I wanted) 31.5 inseam....and I think I need to go shorter.
Eddie Bauer leather jacket or a Andrew Marc (see below).
Todd's Costume Shirt (bought off Ebay about a month ago, used, stiching was needed on the upper sleeve so I got it cheap.)
No hat.
Gun Holster (found at Col Buppies Army Surplus in Galveston, Tx) Treated with some Pecards dressing.
This is an Eddie Bauer jacket that I have had for it seems like 8 + years.
This is a different jacket than the one above. It's actually a Marc New York by Andrew Marc that I bought at Dillards. I also do not know what kind of leather is used here. I have had this for about 3 years. Help identify, please.
Eddie Bauer jacket again, close up

Not bad for a not accurate costume. That is pretty cool how you have different cloths that seem to make a Indiana Jones outfit. Nice job!

The color on those trousers is MUCH closer than my first modern attempt was.
Good call!
Now find yourself a Fedora!

If you are going for a Last Crusade look, you might eventually check into the Wested pants, that fit much like the film trousers. Shirt, some guys will opt to buy an accurate shirt and then change out the buttons for darker ones, as was par after Raiders. At some point, the What Price Glory shirt is a good option. For a nice LC repro hat, Garrison makes a fine one, as does Penman. Occasionally, you can find a Herbert Johnson or Christy's hat up for sale in the Bazaar or on Ebay at a good price. For the other items, such as a bag and strap, belt, etc., I'd check with Todd's. Just trying to make suggestions so you would not have to buy and re-buy gear items, but looking back on it, that is how I would approach it. Most of us have more than one shirt.

You're an original; usually the hat is the FIRST piece of gear people buy!
A lot of people like Todd's Costume for a Last Crusade fedora. Check it out. Oh, and pick up a rake while you're out. Those leaves are piling up!

So does anyone have an idea of what kinds of leather are on my jackets?

Based on the grain, etc., both the EB and AM look to be cowhide.
