TopSecretHats to stay in business

Post by SciFlyGuy »

Not sure if anyone else has stumbled upon this news but the front page of TopSecretHats website says they've found a new owner and will stay in business.

They're currently still selling off their old stock so I don't know if this means we'll get new runs of the Christy's Swerford or Adventurer in the future but I thought it was worth mentioning.

This should be interesting as Christy's now has its own retail website: http://www.christys-hats.com/#sthash.RGFCmrBN.dpbs" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Take a look at the video. This is why the christys hat shrink so fast. That hat is made in a hour at the most. It sits on the block just for a few moments and doesn't see any water. It's also exactly how factory hats are made.

I saw their "Poet Adventurer" on the site. Their picture for it looks pretty bad:

In fact, it doesn't even look a thing like the actual hat itself.

Yeah....reminds me of a black version of 'Jed Clampet's hat in ''The Beverly Hillbillies," minus the rip in the pinch :-s , :rolling: ! W>

It IS however pretty close to my old and very tapered HJ.

If that's where it's starting from one shudders to think what it might look like in a few years.
