Before few weeks i have costumer request for Indy 8 ft bull whip. Gay from Croatia see my whip album on net and he want one for himself. I know this is maybe not interesting for forum, but it was very important for me, not so much because of money, but confirmation of my skill. So I wanted to share it with my Forum Whip Family. Forgive my weakness...
Congrats.....thats what this place is all about...being an extended type of family, brought together by one theme but held together by friendship. Thanks for sharing. and very nice looking whip, too.
Hey Misa, the whip looks great. I agree with Aldo about the fall hitch. Here's a good video that gives the general idea for tying a fall hitch. I do mine pretty similarly:
Thanks to both for advice. I am aware of the particular problem, but sometimes that knot just do not wont be tied properly. In fact, in mu first whip it is tied perfectly. Right now i make new bull whip and when finish i l post photos of new fall hitch.
I just watch video, and i am sure i l try to tie fall hitch in this way next time. But i have another question. What type of leather is that white fall. But please, describe it to me in technical manner. Is it cow hide or what ??? Is it vegetable tanned or alum or something else. In Serbia we do not use same terminology for leather, so describe like, white hide or red hide, they do not mean anything.... thanks in advance
