My latest snake whip

Post by Misa »

This is my new snake whip. Plaited section is 140 cm long. It is made of calf leather and core is made of 3 plaited layers, one top of another. This time i l try to make two colors whip, but i have problem how to find red color for leather. In the end i just use red permanent marker and colour strands. Top layer begin whit 12 strands and reduce to 10, 8 and finish whit 6. Upper two color but knot is 8 by 7, i think, whit two passes, and white, smaller it Gaucho whit 3 passes. Between is INOX ring...

As a fan of the snakewhip, I have to say that is really cute...especially like the handle design.
