Ahhh! Jacket weather!
It's that time of year again, the first hint of bona fide jacket weather just the other day.
Sound off with your choice of jacket this season...

My Wested is always ready to go, followed by my heavier Disney jacket if it gets really cold.
Re: Ahhh! Jacket weather!
I always look forward to the first crisp cool day of fall. I am pretty cold-natured I guess, as I can and do wear t-shirts and shorts in 50-degree weather. However, as much as I like the cold, I have been taking every opportunity to wear my new Todd's jacket

Around here, it's been cooling down rapidly; mid-sixties in the daytime, down to the thirties overnight. Getting better everyday!

You lucky dog! ( I'm officially envious )
I hear ya', brother! Thank goodness the temparature has cooled as the week has gone on ( it was 108 degrees here this past Monday! ). I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Fall is finally here.Tundrarider wrote:Ah, yes...let's talk about the weather for a change!
It has been so hot, still and muggy here for so long, it's hard to even imagine it will ever be cold enough again to even wear my jacket!
Come on "Fall"!!!

Not quite cool enough in the south yet, but I'm ready to break out my newly re-lined novapelle LC/CS with a quickness:

Just got back from a 9 day vacation to Florida. Where the heat and humidity made everything miserable. I step off the plane and its 61 degrees outside.
Get to break out my G&B tomorrow

....I've been workin' a time share deal with my LC and Tibor special! Outstanding jackets!
Re: Ahhh! Jacket weather!
Air conditioning is essential in these latitudes, but you get used to the humidity after awhile. My Wested can only be worn for about 3 months of the year (November thru January), then it goes back into the warehouse until next winter (or gear photo sessions). I don't know how Harrison managed it in Sri Lanka or Hawaii. The Dude wrote:Just got back from a 9 day vacation to Florida. Where the heat and humidity made everything miserable.

I think he had, literally, millions of reasons for doing it.whipwarrior wrote:Air conditioning is essential in these latitudes, but you get used to the humidity after awhile.
