Texan Scott asked if I could post some closeup photos of my newjacket in the TNO jacket owners thread.
Here they are, Tex.
I will update this thread with more shots of the front and some more closeups once I get a chance to upload them to Flickr. I thought I would put the photos of the back here since that is the 'grainiest" part of the jacket. I have included shots in direct sunlight, shade, and mixed sun and shade. I have also included shots in the same light but taken from a different angle to try and show how this jacket appears depending on the light and angle it is viewd from. To tell the truth I think that video would show it better. I might try to make a video of it in the future.
Persoanlly, I think this is some of the best leather for a Raiders jacket that I have ever seen. Maybe once Riley gets things going again he will have this as an option.
EDIT:
Here's the link to a gallery on Flickr with more shots of the jacket, front and back, and some closeups to show the grain better. http://flic.kr/s/aHsjCaH8fT

Can I ask how heavy is it (in Kg) ?
Thanks
Thanks CRB It weighs 1.3 Kg, however I gave it some Lexol recently and it really soaked it up. YOu could tell that it was heavier after I treated it than it was before the treatment. I'll try and weigh it again in a few months and see if it's shed any of those extra pounds

1.3 kg, about 2.86 lbs. is super light weight! It appears that this jacket has had the water treatment at least once, the way the pleats are shaped at the moment? Happens on Wested's too.
I like the color variation in and out of the sun...very SA.

Is that what causes that? I thought it was just due to the thinness of the hide and the nature of lambskin. It's actually one of the very few things I don't care for about this jacket. I've considered wetting the pleats and then laying them flat with something heavy on top top to keep them flat while they dry. I wonder if they would continue to lay flat once dried . On the other hand, I don't see the back very often and I'd hate to mess up this jacket by trying to 'fix' it.
Yup, I love the way the color changes too, anything from chocolate to black.
