Not so fast

do a search for Southbeach jackets here, at filmjackets.com and do a general internet review search. The jackets are poorly made with inferior material and look awful in person.

Why would anyone buy one of these when they could buy a top flight used jacket from one of the COW members at a lower price????

oh i know i hunt to try and us different things just in case their cool. i was really looking for a replica of the resident evil 4 leon kennedy jacket (other than magnoli) for this years winter because to me it looks like the perfect indy winter coat. and no offense to magnoli but my wife would KILL me if i bought a 600 dollar jacket, i get it but she doesn't.

There's a whole range of vendors here for smaller budgets, such as Todd's, U.S. Wings, Wested, etc.

Stay away from South Beach!!! I bought from them, and was greatly disappointed. Luckily I got a refund.

I have a pair of South Beach Leather Mad Max pants, which you can see in the "other costumes" thread. I've been very pleased with them. AbbyShot makes the best Mad Max jacket; South Beach is really the only competitor, at about half the price—and quality. (You can order some serious Mad Max gear from Japan, but expect to sell a major organ to afford it.) SBL's Mad Max jacket is popular with guys who want to destroy them to make Road Warrior jackets. So they have their place.

That said, it would never occur to me to order an Indy jacket from them, unless it was about $50 and I was just going to tear it up.
