...........until (at least) June 5th. ####. I hope they come as soon as possible. I'm tired of waiting!
EDIT: DUE TO COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY DELAYS CAUSED BY US CUSTOMS, THERE IS NO SET DATE FOR THE RELEASE OF THESE BOOTS YET.
EDIT #2 - After receiving an email from Todd's, my own boots are now being shipped!! So I'd say this is the beginning of the end for the waiting that we have been going through for SOOOOOOOOO long!!!!

My feet are extremely wide. You should have seen the face on the guy who sized them correctly! He couldn't believe such small feet could be so wide! LOL.
Ok I'm gunna place my order. No offense but these boots better last and hold for for an adventure or two...or three. If not I'm going to be a very angry person.

Yay!! It'll probably take a bit more time getting across the Atlantic to me here in Ireland, though. D'OH! LOL.
Im in England and the quickest anything has arrived from the US in is 7 days. I have had something arrive from Australia in 5 though. It all depends. I reckon I will be wearing them in three weeks time.

I hope to be wearing them at the same time as well! Even sooner, hopefully!
They're not in his hands yet...Customs is "checking them", while simultaneously making an honest and hard working American citizen pay a lot more than he needs to in order to keep his (own) business going.... Go figure eh?
The only slightly encouraging (if that's the right word) thing about this is that customs are bent all over the world, not just in the U.K. and Japan.....

Ah well...Soon I'm sure he'll get them ok..
Yeah I read that this morning. What a joke the customs officials are. Keeping a hard working man wait like this so they can go thru his products and disrupt his business. It's a complete joke. I really feel for Todd in this situation.
i would love to review these boots , but i have my boots from a few years ago from todd's and those have held up so well , and they haven't come apart or really benn busted up , except for a small tear in the rear of one of the boots heeals and i took it and had it repaired and good like new !!!
so i may have to wait a while before i order a pair , and hope they still make them or he has them in stock .

That's so strange because my pair never even lasted a year before falling apart. I did wear them a lot, but that was because I loved them. I just cannot wait until I get these new boots! And I'll try and wear them a bit less to help them last longer!
I can't wait. They are super accurate, besides not having the Alden logos, and different material on the soles/heels. The heels are too dark, but Alden's darken with use.
These are a great deal. Yeah, they are double the price of Todd's first version, but they are MORE than double the quality. I bought some RedWing boots that are the same shape and look of Aldens. If they had the moc toe they would be good enough, at my local store $145. Now, we have Todd's that are a replica, and are good quality for $150? It's a no brainer.
I feel like buying a pallet of them. It's the only shoe I want.
I see in the trivia section of the boots page that there is an update indicating that these boots run one size large (i.e., an "11" may actually be a "12").

Yes. I wear a 10 1/2 wide and the 9 1/2 fit very nicely. Very comfortable!!!

Check Raiders.
Our Facebook page is http://www.facebook.com/Todds.Costumes. It's easier for me to communicate with customers with various interests (not just Indiana Jones) there.

Well I hope so, because my feet are not too big (size 10), but extremely wide and getting shoes to fit them has been one of the bains of my life! LOL. I ordered the 10.5 so I could get a little room in them. So if they're running a little bigger than normal, then that's music to my ears! LOL.
Indiana Dymond wrote:i.e. I orderd a size 9 1/2 (us) and they will send me boots marked 8 1/2 as they are running one size large.
This is not the way it works. They should be sending you a 9.5 US size because that is your size in the USA, not 8.5. I have a feeling your boots will be a size too small for you.
I ordered a size 10.5 because that's my shoe size in the USA and that's the size I wanna see when I get them. If I ordered my UK size 9.5 and they gave me a USA 9.5, it would really be a UK 8.5. I have been to the USA many times and any times I have bought shoes over there, I always look for a 10.5. I know it sounds kinda confusing, but I hope you get the correct size boots for your feet.
