Steerpike ToD at last!

Post by steerpike »

I was waiting to have time to make some Temple-ish pics, as it deserves this great new entry fedora. I had no time yet, so I couldn't resist to publish some photos: here it is, the Explorador Temple of Doom.

This is a very special hat, with a special history, for which Diego was so meticulous in following in detail my specifics and requests, both in accuracy for famous 'scene of the bridge,' and to my personal specs. I can say that this is the hat he was born to me and reflects at the same time all the original features, in other words, perfect. I plan to make the shots as soon as appropriate, but in the meantime here's to you:

Completely agree with Holt! You were born to wear that hat, steerpike

Congratulations on a wonderful addition to your collection (and please post a few MORE photos of you wearing that wonderful hat!)

I am going to attempt to put this into words that make sense. Your new TOD Bridge-Scene is how I have always pictured the hat to look, even though it didn't quite look that good in the real picture. What I mean is -- sometimes 'one's' perceptions of what something looks like is 'far better' then what reality truly presents. In this case -- you and the good folks at Steele and Jones have done it, at least for me. That is exactly how my mind pictures the hat to be, which is much better then the real movie hat was! Excellent! Quite, excellent, indeed! Enjoy! W>

Bravissimo! Molto bello!

(Sorry if that's not correct. I learned my Italian from Roberto Benigni.) :)

Thanks to all friends! Yes, seem that Diego here has done THE hat. I'm very happy and I promise I'll do a photoshoot, but in few months, because I need the right weather.

You certainly said it a lot simpler then I did! That was my whole point too. It just really looks like what, in my case -- my mind wanted it to look like! Looks better everytime I check back into this thread! Just superb! W>
