New Wested custom Raiders

Back in 2002 I bought a Wested Raiders jacket in distressed cowhide which has served me well, lo these many years. When the weather recently turned cooler I decided it was time to break it out again but it was nowhere to be found! I suspected that its disappearance was somehow linked to my wife's penchant for periodically purging the household and donating boxes and boxes of "stuff" to the Goodwill. Any mention of theses suspicions lead to much marital discord so I decided that in the interest of marital harmony, I should just order a new one! I decided on a custom Raiders jacket in authentic goat. I ordered it Oct. 31 and didn't expect to see it for 6-8 weeks, so I was amazed when it arrived on my doorstep Nov. 11! The authentic goat is beautiful - I think I prefer it now over my old distressed cowhide jacket. Thanks, spousal unit!

That looks really good....much better than the first Wested Goatskins that seemed almost black with grey undertones....

Thanks, guys! I've been sleeping in it the last few nights to help out with the "breaking in" process- seems to be working out pretty well except for the wife laughing at me.

Well, when I ordered, the Hero was only being offered in the crispe lamb and I really wanted the goat.

One suggesstion though! I would be very alert and careful where you decide to 'hide this one away'...you don't want to come up with an empty search with this beauty being the target of the exploration! W>

You made a great choice - the goat has the look of the original with some added toughness! May you enjoy years of wearing it!
