New sale M1917

Post by moto »

Hello.
From Japan to American friends.
A new product appeared from " Tanaka works" of the Japanese toy gun maker.
"Smith&Wesson M1917 CAL.45 U.S. military 5.5 inches"

http://www.tanaka-works.com/m1917.html

Let's expect it for sale from Todd's.
Remodeling to the Indiana model will be what I can simplify.

Cool! Wonder how hard it would be to make it into the Stembridge pistol. :-k

I gave information.
It is a good news for the person of the hobby same as me.
Because the reason is because remodeling same as a true gun is possible.
It is a lower photograph to have remodeled the hand ejector made by Tanaka.

The reason I asked was because a lot of these replicas guns are cast and I didn't know if they could handle the process. One wrong wack and they snap. :Dietrich:

Because the real gun cannot last, a toy becomes cool.

I purchased it and really remodeled it.
It was completed in good condition.
It is the gun which a bottom remodeled with the gun which the top remodeled before this time.

It looks difficult.. But you also do it well enough to have no problem in the remaining guns! Professional job, really well crafted...
難しそうですが、上手くできるから問題ないかも知りませんね?プロみたいので、残ってるの(三つ?)が本物らしくなるでしょう?
I wish I had your skill!

Thank you!
I take time and make three guns.
Because the reason is because I had a request.

Ben is good at Japanese.

Ito san!
Ah, you make them for friends? :D いいなー!
I think you could sell that design back to Tanaka Works! They should make YOUR Indy gun... ;)
And thank you for your compliment! まだまだ知らない事が多いので、勉強します!
Your English too, I know it's not easy to learn!
All the best..

I did the finish process of the grip.
It takes time very much, but the work advances.
Japan of the present time is humid, and temperature is high.
How are all of you?

Are those grips molded plastic? It's a pretty impressive copy of wood if they are - I can't tell the difference. How durable are they? Would they stand up to use on a real pistol?

Thank you for a question.
Materials of this grip are plastic.
I am the same as a grip of M1917 sold in Todd's.
I draw grain of wood since I bury a medal and mold it.
I am not usable with the genuine gun.

I push forward the remodeling of three guns now.
Probably this remodeling is the last.
I will not remodel it anymore in future.
I used the model of 5.5 inches of guns.

It is a painting process now.
Then I take a smaller step.
Finally I express the rust.
The completion plans the end of the year.
One is going to be sent to U.S.A. after completion.

Thank you Azuma. :)
These are completed soon.
I do very careful finish now.
However, there is delicately a problem with the occurring individual by all means.
Mr. Thoth of my friend is a trip to Taiwan from 21st.
Taiwan has been to me more than 30 times by former work.
The most are Taizhong.

Hello Azuma.
Regretfully I do not go to Taiwan by the present work.
A plan is not readily made if private.
Only it is busy now.
I like Taiwan in a good place.
The suburban rural scenery of Taizhong is just still ...
If you want this gun, give me a message individually.

The model of these guns was almost completed.
I will completely dry for a while in future.
There are four in conjunction with the gun which I had.
