Well, here it is still hitting, 98f-100f, but I am hoping to live vicariously through those of you who are experiencing milder temps, at least for the meantime? How's your jacket weather? Getting those new acquisitions broken in? Post 'em if you can.
Typical WA state weather here. Monsoon. I'm sooo sick of rain and little to no summers. The only relief is I can wear my hat and jacket about 95% of the year.
Weather report from New England...still humid as Hanoi round here this week. Rumor has it we'll start getting more seasonable weather this weekend. Can't wait for highs in the 60s!!!!!
I love threads like this that remind me how global our obsession is. Today in London, UK was beautiful for September, bit too warm today for leather jacket of any description. But I fear the rain is around the corner and we'll drop into another cold winter before too long.
I hate to post it, but I just checked our weather for this weekend, and they're now saying 60's daytime highs, and upper 30's for night time lows Saturday and Sunday.
D'oh! I figured you guys in the northern regions would get some ideal weather conditions AND quality jacket time! Of course, most everyone is north of us. Quality jacket time! Quality jacket time...

Seems like the warm weather will hold out till next week. Though it stuffs the Cosplayers at Entertainment Media Show at Earls Court.
I don't know, I'm in south-east Washington, and it has been in the 80's and dry as a bone. It's only 70's today, though, and perfectly blue skies. But I guess that's Washington for ya.
Yeah over here in the Puget Sound area (Olympia) the past few years have been getting wetter and wetter. I moved up here in 80 from So Cal and the weather was much nicer back then. Even the longtime inhabitants are starting to complain.
I've got to update my profile, but we moved to Washington recently. I'm on the dry side of the state however. Today was the first day that really felt like autumn was finally here; trees starting to turn color (honey locust is always the first to yellow out and drop leaves) cold in the morning, warm afternoon, and cooling down fast. The air smells like football, apple crisp, and Sam Adam's Octoberfest. I was able to wear my jacket for most of the day. Fall...bring it on!
Japan is cooling down too....25 degrees today, but fresh since the humidity has dropped...Colder at night..Almost "cold"..Lovely weather..Jackets will be in once the sun goes down I should think...I love this time of year..
Been warm here but getting a little jacket wear in the afternoons with the doors off the Jeep. Going to a night football game Saturday (Go Pirates!!!) And its supposed to be low 40's! Loving it!!!!
too hot in belgium during the day but at night it cools right off and it's always nice to have your indy jacket in the back of your car, just waiting to be put on.
Well the for most of the last week and one half we had weather that was most accomodating for wearing my leather jackets (early mornings to mid day...then evenings/nights) but, being Kansas this past couple of days it has warmed up again, so dash the leather. However, I have it on good authority that more 'leather weather' is on the way (source: My Hopes, Desires and Dreams, a division of Wish Come True, Inc.). It is supposed to cool back down in the next few days. All one can do is wait it out and see. Been ok for Fedora's though. So, not all has been left out of the mix. W>

My forecast is 54 on Saturday. Ha! I win! I win jacket weather!
Actually it's been around 50 every morning when I leave for work, but then I leave at 5 a.m.
We had one evening here in Colorado that was jacket worthy a couple of weeks ago, but it has been high 80s every day since. It's cooled off a little the past couple of days, but I hear it's warming up again, though.
It won't be long now, though.
Well...today again good news -- I was able to wear my black Wested Raider's Goat to the Hospital to do my rounds there. Topped off with a grey raider's fedora and black Alden's -- wonderful morning indeed! Warmed up this afternoon, but tonight has been great again. Hoping the weather predications are right for tomorrow (Sat) and I, once again, will be back in business. Yahoo! W>

Well, I got up to frost this morning and more expected tonight.
Jacket weather here has been hit and miss. Just about every morning for the past two weeks I wear a jacket to work but by lunch time it is no longer needed until after sunset. Tomorrow looks like it will be a jacket day all day, low 36 F- high 72 F but then lows jump into the 50's and high's back into the 80's for the rest of the week.
Well after a couple of weeks with jacket-yes, jacket-sort of...we are now back into the mid to upper 80's for days for a while, so no go except in the evenings again. But there is always hope for a longer strain of perfect cool weather. W>

Wore one of my Expeditions Saturday, as a matter of fact. Wearing my Wings lambskin today.
Everyone is running to get out of the rain today while I comfortably walk wearing my Penman gray and TN CS treated in Obenaufs. I love how this hat just shed the water and holds it's shape.
Well, we made it to Virginia Saturday. Stopped of at Monticello Saturday evening and got to wear my jacket properly. Yesterday we went to Busch Gardens and I wore a hoody and froze my backside off. Afterwards I was frozen to the bone and wore a t-shirt, hoodie and my USW SL. That was nice and kept me warm. Now I think that sweater he wore in MotB looks pretty sweet and will be part of my collection Lord willing.
We're finally getting some days below the 80's this week (although we're right back up there this weekend), so I've finally been pulling out my G & B this past week. Hopefully, autumn will be here to stay in So. Cal.
It's not that we don't have 4 seasons here in southern California--they're just a different set of four:
1. Warm
2. Hot
3. Rain
4. Night
