Like the headline says I´m thinking of making my own Raiders holster but; can someone here help me...I need a diagram with measurments!? I´m on a budget...can someone here assist me....
wade eagan...how about it?
It's possible that if it's a Jpeg or such, it's already scaled at a certain size...But you'd have to print it from an app that recognizes that data and will pass it to the printer, like Photoshop (I think).
The pattern on the main page is a good start. I'm pretty sure it does have measurements included. Once you have your pattern it's just a matter of cutting, dying, and assembling in the right order. If you get into trouble don't hesitate. It's more difficult than it looks.
I checked the mainpage and there´s no measurments...Oh btw would a Colt covernment be acceptable as Indy gun? I ´ve got my sights on a airsoft Colt nearby.
I've had a thought to do a holster for a 1911 or High Power, but the pattern would definitely need a good bit of adjustment to fit one, as it was designed for the contours of a 4" unshrouded-barrel revolver...
And while there's no measurements actually showing on the pattern, if you open it in an app like Photoshop, the pattern is scaled so that if you print it at 100% with no rescaling, it will be the proper size... It has to be printed on something like tabloid/ 11x17", though. If you don't have access to a wide-format printer, you can bring the .jpeg on a thumbdrive to Kinko's and specify printing on 11x17" with no rescaling, they should be able to run off a few copies...

Considering he used multiple guns throughout the movies and books, I'd say it would work just fine as an Indy gun.
