An Easter Egg Surprise...

Post by Gorak »

I had bought Tomek's old Washed Goat as we are about the same build and I missed the one I sold off and for a week or so, my tracking number kept saying it was Inbound Into Customs. I have dealt with Tomek before and he was always very fast on shipping. I am always tickled to see that I can receive a package all the way from Poland in just under a week. I don`t know why but that just really is so cool....anyho... So I just forgot about it so I wouldn't worry.
Well, I went to visit my parents on Easter Sunday and what do I find hidden behind the couch? A big brown box with my name on it. It was the jacket and I love it. I now have a complete collection that I am very satisfied with. No telling how long it will last but I am VERY content with my IndyGear jackets right now.

It is still very newish and tomorrow I will start the cold wash routine. Tomek and I are about the same build cept he is much taller so the jacket is longer than normal but I wanted something just a tad different from my other three. This washed Goat is alittle different than my old one in that there seems to be a more brownish tone to it. the one I sold off had the more Greyish tone. The old one had the side straps placed lower and I just couldn`t live with that. This one has all the Raiders details but they are slightly thrown off as the jacket is longer than normal for a Raiders jacket. Very lightweight and comy.

Thank you so very much Tomek. I am really happy with this jacket.

I was just about to drop you a message about the package. I've checked the tracking number every second day and since two weeks it had been at customs. Weird.
But ufff, I saw your threads and I have heaved a sigh of relief.

Looks good on you. How is the chest? Do you like the fit?

Yeah Tomek, I kept looking at the shipping and didn`t understand why it was still in customs. But it actually wasnt. My brother had texted me that I had a package several days before and I just never recieved it. I just thought there was some kind of hold up..I was gonna joke with you that maybe you had written BOMBer jacket on the shipping! :D
I absolutely love the jacket. the fit in the chest and arms is near perfect for me. fits like my Magnoli coats and they are very tailor made. I love the color, the skin, the weight.
My wife is thrown off by the length which is funny cuz she complained about the Raiders jackets being so short and now she says she got use to me in short jackets so now this one seems to long but I am very happy with it. Thank you

Thanks alot Dragon, but you got nothing to gush over...your Legend is one of the best I`ve seen of the Wings line. And you wear it well yourself....it definitely looks like a custom made personal jacket designed just for you. :TOH:

I'm so glad that you like it. It doesn't look too long on you. If you will ever decide on TOD jacket, that length is perfect :TOH:
