My new Y0122 gloves
I bought these through the bazzar, RaidersBash is selling them, I'd get a pair if you were thinking about it as these can be hard to come by.
I bought two pair, one for now and the other for when these wear out.
I'm editing this post because I don't want people thinking I'm in leage w/RaidersBash, I just think it's an oppertunity.
But seriusly folks whatcha think of my gloves. 60 some odd posts and not one comment
New.
Now for the used/distressed. When new they are stiff but after the Pecards, what a difference.
How I did it.
1st. Slathered them in Pecards.
2nd. Went in search for anything dirty, ie: inside of old tire rims, the grime on my the engine block of my Jeep.
3rd. Some denatured achol and brown acrylic paint. rubbed all over.
4th. Rubbed sand all over them, and not just any sand, sand from Saudi Arabia (my future son in law brought back a 2lb. bag for me (long story) after his deployment)
5th. More Pecards.
And there you go.
Thanks again RaidersBash,
Croft

Could anyone tell me what the difference is between these and 1130's? I'm REALLY thinking about picking up a pair

Re: My new Y0122 gloves
I belive it has something to do with the thumb, 1130's have a curved out area at the base of the thumb, while these don't. Thought that was going to cause an issue first time I put them on, but once I put on the Pecards, no problemo.

And the palm patch on the newer style of 1130's.
CROFT! yours look great!!!
However, in my most humble of opinions, I think they need more.
I hear the best axle grease can be found on the underside of a truck, while you're reaching up into the undercarriage trying to find a good spot to wedge in the turk knot of your whip!!!

Tanks, and if you were thinking of getting a pair, why not, price is right. Heck I'm even kicking the idea on a third pair. How're they selling by the way.
Well I'll keep an eye for that truck, mean while I've started to wear these to give them a little break in time while the ones I was wearing get a coat of Pecards.

Well, after a short wait they got here and they are awesome. I wont put up any pics because they are exactly like Indiana Crofts. This is my first pair of Wells Lamont and its great to have this exellent piece of American made gear finally in my collection.
