Hi Michaelson
Yes it IS me back again along as it remains civil.
Answer: None really. More like a layer cake with extra zips. Nice but nothing to rave about.
A little off topic. KT Templar said that you were going to stop importing Indy jackets and that all Indy jackets would be made in house. Any idea when this will be the case?
Oh, I don't know...it's a pretty sweet lookin' jacket to me...
Good to see you around, Peter! And I was wondering the same thing as Rick...any ideas on a timetable for all jackets being made in-house...
Could an individual simply put a specific request on a jacket be made in-house now? I assume so, but don't like to..
Oh, and let's PLEASE do keep it civil....I'd personally like to see this thread last awhile....that IS a cool lookin' jacket, even if it isn't an Indy.
There was a LOT of clean up and (though we don't normally announce punishements—but to ease everyone's assumptions…) suspensions were doled out.
That said, Peter its nice to have you back and hoping that it "remains civil." BUT the way your first post was originally worded (before moderation), it could be seen as a direct attack against another member. Whatever fights happen on other boards, don't bring them back here and things should…or will…remain "civil". Even if that needs to be enforced by staff.

That was good business as it was, Peter, but the fact that Wested jackets were made BY British Craftsman AT Wested was always your biggest selling point. I'm glad to see that's returning as your business plan again.
Peter,
Would you consider a 30's style halfbelt design on your customs? There has recently been a LOT of interest here and I think it would be well received.

Outstanding news! I shall warm up ye old plastic credit device now. Please post when you start taking orders for the veg tanned lamb. Let me add my thanks to those of others!
Great news Peter...
I'll be more than happy to add another Jacket or two to my collection when they're all being made at home...Always proud to have that "made in England" label on my gear...Proper quality.
And the new leathers sound like a rush too...I'll keep checking the website..
All the best.

What do you mean by "layer cake"? I've heard the term before, makes me want a cuppa and a slice of something sweet.
