Where to get a fedora ribbon?

Post by ajocampo »

Hey all,

I got my Christy's adventurer about 6 months ago, I'm planning to replace the stock ribbon with a more authentic looking one worn in Raiders...anyone know of any site that sells them?

I don't know pal. I've just looked at the site a few times and seen a few of their feds on the boards. They make nice hats from what I've seen. Drop them a line, I'm sure they'll help if they can :)

I doubt you'll find someone that does, as the "knot" isn't really a knot at all, see: http://dalexs.whitvani.net/hat/hatpage.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hey Chewbacca Jones,

Yes. This is the only color I sell. And the only width. (1-1/2")

Nope, never replaced a ribbon myself. Someone on The Fedora Lounge mentioned that Optimo sells premade bows that you can tack on yourself. Might try giving them a call.

I followed Dalexs' tutorial to make a bow. Granted, it wasn't perfect. But I am a clutz with a needle and thread, so I would not rank it as a very hard thing to do.
