Congratulations. That’s a gorgeous example of a one of DM’s whips, I’d certainly have a hard time parting with that beauty.

All the best

Beautiful! I love looking at great examples of art like this. That is definitely no imitation Morgan. Have fun cracking this thing. It such a joy to watch the natural hide turn to a beautiful mahogany patina.

Take Care....

That new DM is one of the best looking ones I've seen in a long time. Look how uniform the strands are!! I hope to be able to cut like that someday. And that knot is the perfectly shaped!

How does it handle? Is the junction between the handle and thong soft or solid? I wish the ten footer I bought a couple years ago had looked like that. I might not have sold it.

It pains me that you sold your previous DM. That whip looks sooo darn cool. Almost screen used. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do though. Life sure ain't fair.

Congratulations on your new whip!

Hey man thanks, i thought the same thing. This whip is alot better made than my first morgan from 89'. I am very impressed with it. The junction is very solid. I dunno is that good thing?

At first i wasnt sure if i was going to like the shorter handle style, but i LOVE it, i think it makes the whip look and feel better.

Well, in my opinion it is a very good thing. I like a nice and sold feel between and handle and thong. I don't like it when they're spongy.

I really like your whip collection. Are all the ones on the table made by Strain?

Who made those Australian white whips?

That thing is a beauty. I still can't talk the Mrs. into letting me spend that many greenbacks on a whip.

White ones are made by Peter Jack and all others are by Joe Strain.
