question about a gun ?

i ordered one of those gun kits on ebay where the gun is made of resin , do those guns last or do they tend to break? i'mean i got it for 16 bucks and some change .

Not sure which gun you ordered but generally the resin used in making the cheaper guns is quite brittle so it can't be thrown around. There ARE resin items that are made that are especially durable but its highly unlikely that at $16.00 you have such a piece. That said, a really good resin piece can be a really nice prop because of resin's ability to take and hold detail..

If you're serious about this may I suggest you chat to someone like Rook? He's made some gorgeous cold cast Aluminium resin Webley's viewtopic.php?f=40&t=37975

Anything will break if mistreated, even mine. :)

Just handle it with respect... and avoid dropping it on concrete/stone floors
in Nazi castles. ;)
