TOD whip in video!!! Problem!!

I see this video about Tod's whip, and I see a very fragile whip with 3 or 4 points breaked.

Todd has posted here that the 10 footer was mainly a prop piece and not to be cracked. He doesn't even sell that whip anymore. The merits of his 8 footer are discussed here

Perfect for costume or display use (not recommended for extended cracking).
