For my first pistol, I wanted a well-used (though not abused) S&W revolver, seen here; http://indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=46994 For my Hi Power, after a lot of consideration I decided to get brand new, so all of it's history could be my own. Not exactly like Indy's, but for me, close enough and really nice to look at. As well as fire when I get the chance.
Thank you Dragonlady. I've only taken it to the range twice now, but I'm getting used to it and it's a great pistol! Looking forward to taking it shooting a lot more!
Thanks Rex. I live in an area where there's more horses than people, so most here don't have any kind of problem with it. Outside of here though, I get a kick out of the expressions on my fellow Californians' faces when it comes up that I'm a gun owner. Might as well tell them I've married my sister (Hey! I don't have a sister!)
