My brand new Hi Power

Post by DeWayne »

For my first pistol, I wanted a well-used (though not abused) S&W revolver, seen here; http://indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=46994 For my Hi Power, after a lot of consideration I decided to get brand new, so all of it's history could be my own. Not exactly like Indy's, but for me, close enough and really nice to look at. As well as fire when I get the chance.

I think you're beyond close enough! That's a great piece - good call buying a new one and making it your own.

Thank you Dragonlady. :TOH: I've only taken it to the range twice now, but I'm getting used to it and it's a great pistol! Looking forward to taking it shooting a lot more!

She's a beauty. Cherish that "new factory" smell before she gets all smoky.

Thanks Rex. I live in an area where there's more horses than people, so most here don't have any kind of problem with it. Outside of here though, I get a kick out of the expressions on my fellow Californians' faces when it comes up that I'm a gun owner. Might as well tell them I've married my sister (Hey! I don't have a sister!)
