My latest Raiders whip

Post by whiskyman »

Hi,
Just thought I'd post some pics of a roohide Raiders whip I finished yesterday. Well, I call it Raiders - but really it's more of a generic Indy whip. Unless someone specifically asks for Raiders specs, I generally prefer the handle area to be about a half inch shorter. These are the propotions that I personally find most pleasing in an Indy whip. The thong is reasonably slender - somewhere between Raiders and LC. Doesn't actually have an owner this one - so it may end up in the classifieds. Or maybe I'll keep it as I don't actually own a 10ft. :whip:
Let me know what you think.

Nice! that is one beauty of a whip, nice lines in the outer plaiting. What's it got for a belly?
