I need someone with computer skills to block the Wested web site from my computer, because I can't control myself
Last week I ordered my third Indy jacket. (first was a Wested LC lamb that was damaged and then lost by the post office enroute for repair....second was a Wested Raiders washed goat.) This time I ordered a Wested LC Novapelle. I'm pretty excited.
I'm hoping the ground hog was right and we still have more time before the warmer weather.

Congrats! You'll love the Novapelle. I own a LC Novapelle with black satin lining and I love it. Oh, and I'll block Wested on your computer if you block it on mine.... I own 7 Wested's. A mix of Raiders and LC in different skins. I love 'em all!

I tell myself it's okay because I'm going to wear it. It's not something I'm going to buy and put on a shelf and forget.

I rotate mine all the time. Actually none of my Jackets have sat on a hook longer than a few weeks. Some are warmer than others, and some much lighter, so you could say I have a Wested for all seasons.

I agree. Novapelle's soft and comfortable right from the start, and it gets better every time you wear the jacket.

Nice. but we need better pictures. the picture of th collar doesnt really make it shine.
I want to see the configuration. the stormflap/ collarstand config. I also want to see the back. and the inside of the jacket. did you recuest anything for the pockets?
this jacket is more CS then LC IMO.
it has the CS pockets spot on.
I hope your happy with it.

I hadn't seen any write ups yet on what the CS pockets look like compared to the others. I'll look into getting the other photos.
I think my washed goat has a better worn look than the Novapelle....especially after the first few weeks.

Won't it just make it look darker, like an unwashed goat or something?

Nice jacket!!!!
I agree, Holt....it does look, to me at least, a bit more CS than LC...
Pics of the back, action pleats, and strap config, please!!!
The leather looks GREAT!
Regards!

Put a coat of Pecards on...didn't wipe it all off so there's white marks here and there. Looking back I should have tried Pecarding everything but the seams and stuff....to make those areas look more worn. idk.
Here's some collar photos....and the other back photo I have (pre-pecard)...I took some more photos but my digital camera's flash makes everything look washed out and ugly.

thanx for those. looks way better in those pictures.
Still pretty CS because of the larger pockets, but actually a pretty decent LC too. I see they made rounded collar tips. good!
how long is that jacket?

Thanks, Holt. Here is the wonderful jacket in-question, displayed in the bright California sunlight. I know it's hard to focus on the jacket with that dazzling vintage beauty on my arm, but try anyway.

Thats a nice pic John! I've been meaning to order another Indy Jacket from Wested myself. It's always nice to see a pic that shows us that Indy's jacket can still kick some butt in the modern world!!

Cool, but slightly unnerving for us 'ungunned' locales!
As a slight aside, I noticed that the recently absent novapelle is now back in stock for those who have been waiting. The tanking pound should make it pretty tempting.

Nice jacket but I was wondering Wested shows 28 as the longest back length, they can do longer? And when they ask for back length, is that the total or from the bottom of the collar?

I could be wrong but I think it is from the bottom of the collar.
What I did was put "BACK LENGTH 29 PLEASE" in the little special request box when I ordered.
