last "piece" of the puzzle - my Inglis
Howdy,
I just grabbed this off of gunbroker:
Still in its original finish, never refurbed. Looks to be in terrific condition and, according to the seller, shoots very well.
Now I've got the trilogy: S&W 2nd Model Hand Ejector, Inglis HP, and a WG. I can die happy.

Don't get me started on THAT subject! There's a .22 Stoeger Luger that I'd like to pick up someday, but I have to locate one for sale here in California as they can no longer be imported here from out of state. Back on topic - VERY nice pickup, RaiderZee! That Browning looks nearly factory new - I am officially envious.

Yes, as I discovered when I paid for it, it is an RCEME re-park. Not one of the 1963 factory jobs splashed with suncorite. Except for the numbers in black, it's pretty much like when it came off the line in 44-45, plus new springs. I think I got the best of both worlds.

Yes the Canadian Army refurbs are top notch. The British Army painted theirsRaiderZee wrote:Yes, as I discovered when I paid for it, it is an RCEME re-park. BTW, did you get just the pistol or did come with 'EIS' ? (holster, two magazines, cleaning rod, lanyard....)

Nope, just the pistol and one mag (1978). But for $600, I'm good with the deal.
BTW, a local gunshop has one of these in the original wartime finish, with one original mag. Asking $675. It's in good mechanical condition, but has a nicely weathered patina. I'm tempted to trade because I'd prefer an unrefinished original, plus mine just looks too nice for an Indy gun. Hmmm . . .

You could always tie it to the bumper hitch on your jeep, and drag it down a gravel road...that'd give it the look you wanted...
