ToD Cufflinks
Anyone noticed the cufflinks Indy wears in the opening scene of ToD?
They look like cool little motifs of the Eye of Ra...
Too hard an object to go searching for do you think?

Hey...
The cufflinks are not motifs of Ra... I was watching the VHS closely (wasn't allowed to buy the DVD's... the release date so close to Christmas... but I already guessed the present and my girl told me it was the DVD's... but she still won't let me open them till Christmas...) anyway... the guys with the DVD's open if you look where Indy takes the champine glass you can see they're not Ra.
Besides why would they be Indy hadn't discovered Ra at this point anyway... TOD takes place before Raider's as we all know.
Now I could be wrong and this could be a inside joke played by the people involved in the film.

Apologies, guys- just to clear some confusion...
I didn't mean the headpiece from Raiders (is that what you meant DIJ?)- I meant that the cufflinks appear to be 30's streamlined versions of the Eye of Ra of real Egyptian mythology- do a Google Image search and you'll see what I mean...
After thinking about this more though, I'd be very suprised if it was anything vaguely Archaeological... although it's just so hard to see clearly even on the DVD (although my TV isn't huuuuge).
I can't do screenshots- but the best views are when Indy is about to swirl his finger through his poisoned drink and while he is going for the antidote down Willie's top. (Just typing that last line sounds more metaphorical than literal)...
