ToD Gunbelt
Anyone have any good screen grabs/pics of the Temple of Doom gunbelt?
I did a couple of searches, but didn't find much.
Thanks

Re: ToD Gunbelt pics
The best view of the TOD belt I have ever seen, screenshots included, is on Vic Armstrong in the 'Complete Making of All Four Films' book. It's a large coffee table book and I think it's still available from Amazon. It has lots of previously unseen set photos and wardrobe photos.

If you look closely the ToD gunbelt is only the same width as the web belt. I've seen this in other photos too but here it's pretty much irrefutable!
Wade, did you pick up on this?

On a side note, anyone know why Vic Armstrong is holding that stick in the photo? It looks like some kind of ruler marked out to six feet or something. Is it to give the picture scale?

Absolutely! I have a SA ToD gunbelt available but I have not added it to my site yet. Here's a quick webcam shot as my camera is on loan to a friend. It's 1 3/8" wide with a two tone finish (dark brown on the front, tan on the back), something else I saw in said book as well.conceited_ape wrote:If you look closely the ToD gunbelt is only the same width as the web belt. $45 for COW.

That looks great!

They were going to have Indy use it on the conveyor belt to hit the Chief Thuggee guard, but switched to the saw blade insteadSatipo wrote:On a side note, anyone know why Vic Armstrong is holding that stick in the photo?

Kick arse, Wade!
Money's a bit tight at the moment, Christmas and all, but you can expect to hear from me soon.

Kyle
For a minute there I thought I'd missed a scene where Indy helps the children cross a road.

Re: ToD Gunbelt
Ok, I received my Wade Egan ToD gunbelt last week and I gotta say, it's awesome!!
The leather feels very durable, and the colour and buckle are spot on. 11/10
Here's some pics, with Wade's LC for comparison:
(NOTE: Mine I custom ordered with the LC style 4 rivets by the buckle and the very long extra length. These aren't standard.)
Front, rear, and buckle:
LC top, ToD bottom:
Buckle comparisons (remember that the rivets on the ToD are my personal addition):
Backside:
My long extra length (no it does not actually flare at the end):
It may not be totally screen accurate, but this is a fine piece of work that will last.
The cost for COW was $50 plus shipping, and the the extra specs were free. Good stuff all around.

Re: ToD Gunbelt
Awesome belt! I've also recently bought one of Wade's ToD belts and they are VERY SA and high quality.
