Hey Everyone,
this is my new 7 foot 12 plait indy style whip from Jim at ecwhips. I had him use a 6" nail spike instead of an 8" for more of a snake whip style action. As you can see it can out perfect! Also the color looks just fabulous. This piece of art only set me back $185---not bad at all! =D> When this beauty arrives I will post a review of how it handles. And Jim, I don't think you have to worry about a bad review
Thanks man!

Hey great lookin whip you got there SAB! I also have a whip on the way. Now you have yourself a fantastic TOD jacket and a new whip to go with it I think you need to get yourself a fine TOD fedora to top it all off my friend. I know what you said about the hats there down-under being common and all, but don't kid yourself you need the Indy lid! LOL Just my 2 cents...ok I'm off to watch TOD. Cheers enjoy the whip crackin'. Best Regards, Brett
Whoops...wrong sab... sorry I got mixed up in the excitement of viewing that whip, my apologies to both SABs ... I'll pay more attention next time. Regards Brett
It arrived today and it's beeter than I hoped! The plaiting is nice and tight and every detail is right on. It cracks very easily and looks perfect.
I absolutly love this whip!!!!!! It's awsome! As I said before, Jim is the man!!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone's interested I have posted a picture of a new Budget Indy I just finished recently. I made some adjustments to the inner construction to thicken the whip up a bit, as a number of people thought the Budget whips looked too thin. I also made this one a little more like the Raiders style, with the diamond plait carried out to just about the end of the nail, giving the handle a longer look. Copy and paste this link into your browser if you want to see it. http://www.geocities.com/ecwhips/Budget1203.JPG
I gotta tell ya, I was just cracking this whip (yeah in 8º weather)
and I am continuously being impressed by it. it's so much fun. It's very fast and cracks really nice and smooth. I think the biggest thing that makes this whip so much fun is the way short handle. there is a 6" nail spike in it instead of an 8" and for some reason, that makes the whip feel and handle very cool. I absolutly love my 8' morgan, but it's gotten very "floppy" and now cracking sessions seem like there in slow motion,
if ya know what i mean. If I could choose one whip to crack out of all my whips-8'morgan-6'morgan-8'strain-7'ecwhip-8'wsp(nylon)-12'wspAmerican
I would choose the ecwhip. its the most fun for the best price!
so Jim, can I have my check now....... just kidding

Glad to see you are enjoying your new ECwhip in 8 degree weather. The 6 inch spike in the handle is interesting. I think Jim should call this new design the, "Yankee". )
Thanks, Scott. I'm glad you're enjoying the whip! I was trying to think of a good jab right now to use on your Red Sox, but just the fact that they can't quite keep up with the Yankees is enough for me. Keep on cracking!
