Oddity with my G&B jacket
I have struggled with an odd problem with my G&B lambskin jacket. After a few minutes of wear the jacket rides up my right arm and down my left. Not much, couple of inches, but enough to be quite noticeable. I brought this oddity to the attention of my tailor. After a quick examination she suggested that the slick nylon liner combined with my being right handed resulted in this problem, she suggested the addition of a more abrasive material be added to the inside of the jacket at the shoulders. I did exactly that but still the jacket becomes askew. Anyone else have this problem?

Nope. I have a 42R and a 44T, and neither one does that. I am also right handed.
It sounds like your jacket shoulder width may be just a bit wider than your actual shoulder width, allowing the jacket to slide over on your body.

THAT'S IT! I normally wear a 44L, this jacket is a 46!
Great ... Now I have to buy another jacket!
Anybody got a 44L they want to trade for a 46?

The size thing is probably it. I noticed that my latest US Wings is bigger than my previous one, and I have experienced a slide on one side of the jacket, as well. Interesting.

Mike, I have a 44L, that I would be willing to trade. It is goat hide, though?

That is possibly the strangest post I've read here on COW. I'm sorry for your experience, but, man that's odd. I have the same jacket. It's fine. Is it possibly an issue with your posture...? I say this only because my friend is an oesteopath and he says that one of the signs of a spinal problem is when the sleeves of you suit appear to be uneven.

I was a soldier most of my life. My Doctor tells me my posture is flawless!
Re: Oddity with my G&B jacket
I know a bunch of soldiers and their postures are terrible - I understand that's often the case for those folks, given the work and lifestyle. I'm glad yours is flawless. That jacket of yours must be cursed then.

No, CM, if you caught what he just discovered, it's one size too big. He needs a size 44. His is actually a 46.
ANY 'too large' jacket will do what his is doing on him.
