Indy jacket with zip-out liner?
I wanted to know if anyone makes an Indy jacket with a zip-out liner. It would be nice to have a wool one for colder climates.

I know that Magnoli does snap in liners if you request it. I've discussed such a possibility with him before. He says the snaps don't effect the look of the jacket at all.

Thanks for the info. Too bad Magnoli's jacket cost an arm and a leg.crismans wrote:I know that Magnoli does snap in liners if you request it. I've discussed such a possibility with him before. He says the snaps don't effect the look of the jacket at all.

It may not be screen accurate, but that's a great idea.

PrettyBigGuy had one added to his G & B. He just took it to a tailor and had him do the mod. I believe he had a liner from another jacket though. Maybe shoot him a PM and see what he says?

Re: Indy jacket with zip-out liner?
I actually was considering getting a jacket made with a zip-out liner, but decided against it as I was afraid it would ruin the look, or end up being too bulky... However, if someone gets one done, they should have a liner made that resembles the Han Solo vest... Best of both worlds!

Castor! I've used my Bespin Han Solo jacket as a layer with my Indy jacket! (well, I guess it was when I went down to CIV)
Re: Indy jacket with zip-out liner?
You don't really need the liner. Just get a tight fitting, good quality fleece top with a zip front - and wear it unzipped under your jacket. It cant be seen and it is far warmer than a liner.

Then there is the Mystery of the blues cardigan option of course, with the added benefit of being seen on screen.
