The first pic shown the evolution pretty well. Though there may be doubters amongst you here, the bag in the upper left does indeed sport ank ink stamp on the underside of the flap that clearly says VII and a date stamp of "43", even though the bag itself does not possess the angled corners, nor does it have snaps either; but uses Chicago-screw style fasteners instead. At least that's what I think they're called. I made the strap on it. I don't know how or why this is still a MKVII, but perhaps it's from another country from around the same time frame. I remember I got the bag off of eBay like 5 years ago (fro around 25 or 30 bux, if I remember right), and it served me well until I got a Canadian MKVII earlier this year, also from eBay, and also for around $30. Thats the one on the upper right. The third, received today after the seller whom I found on eBay offered this one to me as a "Second chance offer" after I bid on another, less pristine one, and did not win that other one. And I gotta say,... it's in beautiful shape. Pristine, even. And for around $52, including shipping.

This second pic, with flash, is to better show the variations in color between them.

This pic shows my newest, screen-accurate (yay!) bag, with a pair of non-SA work gloves I got at the "Dollar Store" today for $5. Why not?

And to show it's got the correct number of vent holes...

... and all my bags in a line-up. Newest, oldest, and the Canadian bag, which came second.

Now... to order another strap from somewhere...!
