An Akubra also works well to protect the head when a tornado blows a huge garage type door off the tracks, and onto old Fedora's head. Knocked me to the ground, and left a bump, but no CUTS!!!! Thanks Ron!!! The hat was unscathed. FedoraTo protect you from the elements, as it was originally designed to do!

Hmm... do you spin it clockwise or counter clockwise? You're supposed to spin it counter clockwise to impress people, and clockwise to turn them away.

As a bailing bucket when your luxury yacht is sinking off St. Tropez.
Amaze your friends! Embarrass your kids! Stand it by the brim on your nose, nod your head and - presto!- you're wearing it.
Toss it into the room and onto the coat rack as you enter, a la James Bond.

31.) To use as a bucket to fetch cold water to pour over your wifes injured knee on the trail.
32.) Doing the exact same thing for your daughter (genetics?).
33.) Fanning a campfire.
34.) Swatting at wasps.
35.) A useful shield for keeping branches and webs out of your eyes.
36.) When you're hunting a deer in a buck only unit and the doe ten feet away knows you're there but can't locate you and you don't want to spook her and run off the buck you've been stalking with your longbow for the last 3 hours and you have to hold absolutely still....a spider will actually have enough time to start a web running from your nose to the brim of your hat.
