Thats cool! Myself...I just love the way the LC clover lighter fits in there! It seems to be made for it.

Re: Mark VII tiny pecard pocket
Huh, I automatically put my small Pecard's tub in there too. Perfect fit. Amazing really.
I also like the one divider pocket (the one split in half) to keep a water bottle in. Spare crackers and fall in another(the flat full width one). Some folks remove these dividers, but I like 'em!

Guess I'm in the lighter camp...Of course, it also fits packs of gum quite nicely, too.....

My pager clips into there. My cell phone fits but it won't stay.

Just remember,When you eventually order your large tub, pick up one of the small sizes(.75 oz) at the same time. You don't want to pay separate shipping!Ranger36 wrote:I put a box of matches in it. But thats a great idea with the Pecards, I should try it. All I need now is Pecards.

The lighter came in my mind too as I watched down on me to my five-pocket-jeans. But seriously, a lighter-pocket is a cool idea, too.
So, the original Mark VII from the 40's had the same pocket in it?

Hey, Geert, are those your bags? If so, who's the maker on the right? I couldn't make it out on my monitor. Thanks!

The back story to our gear is half of what makes it cool in the first place!

Centered in the right image is the metal loop for the thin lanyard to keep it from being dropped.
This lanyard was either attached to a loop or an eyelet in the small pocket of which we've spoken.

Yes those are my bags. I must say it isn't strange you couldn't make out the maker on your monitor, as I can't read it myself on that bag. So untill I find myself a new trick to try and figure it out it will unfortunately remain a mysterysam wrote:Hey, Geert, are those your bags? If so, who's the maker on the right?
