Colleagues --
Has anyone purchased the Akubra Fed IV Delux in "Heritage Fawn" color? Comments or pix would be much appreciated. Cheers - Lao Feng

Re: Fed IV "Heritage Fawn"
Hey Lao,
I believe that Kokopelli was showing off his once upon a time... in fact, after a quick search I came across these... The first two are Kokopelli himself - at least...I think...
(I should say in advance though: I don't know if these links even work...)
...and someone in what I'm to understand is a "Heritage Fawn Deluxe":
Kokopelli, I hope you don't mind me passing these photos along... let me know if it IS a problem and I'll take them down immediately.
Hope this helps Lao.
Mitch

Is it?
If so, my apologies to Lao... I guess my search turned up the wrong hat (but the right color).
Sorry about that Chief.
(But I hope it still helped.)

Many thanks to Mitch et. al. for sharing. It's a nice color. A shade darker than tawny fawn and lighter than the traditional dark brown. Ity would be versatole with suits, sports coats, or Indy leather jacket. Cheers to all. - Feng

Re: Fed IV "Heritage Fawn"
The hat that Kokopelli is wearing is the standard Fed IV Tawny Fawn, His second pic shows the color better I think, Bob's hat is the deluxe Heritage Fawn which is darker. I don't now why Akubra made the standard and deluxe a different color but I recently got myself the standard Tawny Fawn because I liked the color better. In fact it was a picture of Kokopelli in his hat that made me want one.
BTW, this is my first post here but I've been visiting here for over a year. Great place and the hat's are fantastic.

Re: Fed IV "Heritage Fawn"
Here are photos I had of my Tawny Fawn over in the Fed IV display thread, my tawny gets the most wear of the two, I guess I am a beige type of guy...love the color, I wish they had this particular color in the heritage though...the brown on the right is a fed III heritage...
