I can't contain my joy, I now have the one I have been waiting for since 1989. I think it is perfect. I know it is not fair not to have pics yet but I will post them as soon as I get home tonight. You all will not be dissapointed. He may have just sent me the real LC jacket by mistake its hard to tell.
Tony is a master craftsman.

This 5 for me. Never bought one to make up for another. They are always different and I always get everythink I ask for. We spent alot of time together in Ohio. We have an good understanding of how each other works and we do work well together.
Can't wait to see your pics. I've been considering having Tony make me an LC in that dark cowhide Indy G used for his Raiders. This way I can just tell Tony to use your specs!
I want to see pictures Christopher
It's the same leather I get for my TN LC jacket. Tony has researched it for me.
The leather itself will make it a LC jacket! You don't need all that SA stuff! I'm sure you're jacket is great.
I'm also pretty sure Kevin Anderson changes his order again
One of the defining traits of the LC jacket is it's unusually bad distressing job. Are you planning on replicating that or just letting it naturually distress? C'mon, man...post them pics up. You're being a tease and you know it!
Holt don't expect too much SA stuff.
I'm off these SA stuff. Because I won't have all the wrong features on my LC Nowak the jackets had in the movie.
Raider S no offense but you shouldn't judge a jacket by it's thickness or without even haven't seen it yet.
I give a **** about thickness. I'm more interested in the color and the drape and the jacket will for sure 10 times better then the jackets made for the movie.
Fun stuff this jacket thing

It sure is. Way too thick. Don't even need to see photos as I'm positive this is probably the worst jacket ever from Nowak.
Man, how right you are. I've heard hardly anyone is interested in his jackets any longer.....don't how he fooled Leonard and DeLongis into getting them........
That is one beautiful jacket. Loooks like it is ready for either a castle or a tank! It looks very sturdy. Wear it out well.
I am envious and I am more of a Raiders kind of guy.
I don't care what anybody says, that is so good it belongs in a museum.
Sweet jacket!.....I'm not a SA nut so can anyone enlighten me as to the main differences between this jacket and the TN CS? (To me the only difference I see from the photos is the distressing job). (Also, is this the same leather Tony is using as from the CS jacket?)
The collar on the lc is different, The pockets are round at the bottom, the flaps are not much wider than the pocket
the pocketflaps are rounded not sharp.
Holt maybe you can answer this: did the LC jacket have facings on the zipper?
Great looking jacket, it manages to capture the essence of the LC distress job without quite being as extreme. The leather looks great too, in my opinion, some LC jackets draped like a thicker jacket when compared to the raiders hide. What's the cowhide called that Tony ended up using? It looks like the perfect all-purpose Indy jacket leather as far as I'm concerned, not too dark and not too light, which is not the case of half of the jackets out there today.
It's called the shrunken cowhide just joking..
It's a non predistressed cowhide. I've placed an order for a custom LC jacket from Tony but I wanted a different leather.
I thought about a thick lambskin but Tony didn't had anything like that. Then we came to cowhide. I have sent him many Screenshots of the movie and I have asked for a rich brown cowhide. He said he will source the right one for me. I really wanted something not predistressed. Because the jackets in the movie wasn't predistressed either.
The later distressing makes the jacket so special!
It's pretty good for me that Christopher got it first so I can still make changes
She's a beauty and Tony has once again shown us he is the Kung Fu master. THE Kung Fu master. It looks just like the photos we see of the real McCoy's.
As for a jacket I'd want to wear everyday (and who wouldn't want to wear a Nowak as much as possible?) I'd go with that awesome leather without so much extra distressing. The LC is a great choice for an Indy either way, though!
Man that is a terrific jacket. I've been speculating for quite a while that Tony could knock an LC type out of the park and he certainly did. The leather is simply beautiful, pretty much what I had thought to get for myself. And I agree that the distressing job says LC without being too over the top.
I think this has convinced me that I definitely will be the proud owner of a Nowak LC at some point in the future.
