Addition of a cat will usually take care of it....

If the jacket is new it's probally a result of the frictin between the leather. Maybe you should break it in or something. Throw it in the dryer with a non-heated tumble and throw a few tennis balls with it. Maybe add a cat like Pyramid suggested, works wonders on a leather jacket
Or just wear it alot, the sound should go away by itself.

I've got a 70s vintage A-2, It still creaks, you're gonna get that with most leathers I think.

Personally, I love the creak of leather. It's one of the reasons I like leather jackets so much.
Perhaps I'm just weird...

When you get to a certain age, you start noticing the creaks aren't coming from your jacket. WHy do you think Michaelson uses Pecards so much?

there are worse noises than creaks and squeaks available in the vintage guy arsenal...
I'd prefer the joint crack or leather creak, thanks.

My lambskin raiders creaked, and I loved it. I sold the jacket and bought one in novapelle, and alas, no creak. I really miss it.

My Wested lambskin Raider's jacket is over 10 years old and still creaks as much, maybe more, than the day it was new. Personally, I love that!

To actually *answer* the original question... ;-)
Whenever I find myself with a new jacket that creaks, I find that after its first treatment of Pecards, the creaking either lessens significantly, or stops altogether.
Yes, Club Obi-Wan. Official sponsor of Pecards.

It's hard to be stealthy when your jacket squeaks and creaks

Yeah, because when you're trying to sneak up on a stormtrooper he'll hear you and turn around while he sends his buddy off on a speederbike to...

Quite honestly, I like the squeak. If I remember correctly I think you can hear Indy's jacket squeaking in ROLA during the scene in the Imam's house. So see, the squeak is screen accurate!
