I'm new to the community, and really enjoy whats going on around here.
I need some help, if anybody can. I'm looking for some info/pics on an adventurebilt shirt in size small because I'm looking to get one. My problem is I'm tall but thin, and I mean thin; 6ft 150lbs soaking wet.
I have a Todd's shirt (which is great!) but is too short in the body and sleeves, and the cuffs are really tight. I've read that the AB shirts seem to be almost 3 inches longer in most areas, but with my thin frame, I'm not sure what to think. Kim's sent me the measurements, but I'm looking for anyone that may have one. Any info/experience is greatly appreciated before I jump in on such a great looking shirt
I ended up buying the shirt in small. It came today, man super FAST shipping. I ordered it on Friday the 20th, and received it today!
The construction of the shirt is solid. Stitches, and buttons seem very well attached. Looks like it can take a beating. Feels smooth right of the bag. It has a nice weight to it too. The epaulets do sit more forward then right on the shoulder, but it doesn't look bad. This shirt is LONG! Way longer then my Todd's. I'm 6ft tall, but slim, and I mean slim, so this shirt needs to be shortened, and taken in. Todd's is a more slimmer shirt and fits me perfect in the body (size 37 chest), at least until he may have changed it just recently. So the length I need is between the AB and the Todd's exactly.
I DO recommend the shirt though. Details (except epaulets position) are excellent, colour is spot on Raiders. Just gotta do some extra work to it (sizing), and its all good. Can't wait to get it out of the first wash for those nice screen wrinkles.
I won't post any pics unless requested because we all know what an AB shirt looks like. Thanks for input from here and previous discussions to make the decision.
I can't believe you got a small and it comes half way close to fitting you! I'm 6'3" 200# and my son is 6'4" 180# and neither one of us could wiggle into a medium. I understand being slim, I used to weigh in at 150# for years, but unless you have teeny, tiny arms, how could it fit you?
