Looks like a Federation. The ribbon seems about right. Very nice bash. Did you crease that one?

Looks like a Henry to me. I'm not sure though.

doesn't look like a henry to me
the color seems too bright, while the henry is very dark (but it could be the light
dunno, I'm no expert)

Due to the thickness of the felt, I'd guess JPD?

the bow has got something funny going on in the knot part......she's folded over from both sides and showing that on the outside from what i can tell. the only indy hatter that i know off that does that with their hats is SAB.....so perhaps the ribbon work is by the owner. the hat itself looks like a henry with the flat brim but i wouldn't know why anyone would mess with that perfect factory ribbon........i'm stumped.....so my guess is that i made the hat
.........i wish.............

I'm sorry, but that doesn't look like a Henry at all to my eyes. It looks like a re-ribboned Federation. I'm no expert, but thats what it looks like to my eyes.

I thought of the Fed IV initially, as it seems the most obvious choice, since the owner lives there. Hmmm......

hold on, that's darthbish's hat and i know he's an akubra fan.
my guess is an akubra campdraft with a reworked ribbon? i'm straying away from the federation line as it looks like there's more brim on this......but looks are deceiving as i need to see it on someone's head ;-)

Looks like a Tawny Federation to me. The bow looks exactly like my Fed's. I rule out the Campdraft because you'd have to trim off the bound edge, making it narrower. Can't say if this is a deluxe or not, because of the lighting.
Also, knowing Bish, he'd be excited enough about a new Akubra to go for a big reveal like this. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

How many hats does that bush grow every year?
If you bury the hat in the ground will another bush grow and produce more hats?

No, it will just become priceless..like the ark.
Kidding aside, I'd say akruba def. with a new ribbon.

Hmmm. The hat screams Akubra to me, style of bow, felt, block. Which model? Hard to call, but very similiar to the Fed 4 to me. Fedora

Nahh, sorry....
but it begs the question, why did the Fed IV replace the III??
I've gotta say that the look, crown, brim etc is wayyyy better in the III...IMHO
Softer felt too, takes a bash REAL well
