Post by Bruce Wayne »

i have been considering purchasing a horse hide last crusade wested for a while now. & i have noticed that the us dollar is a little stronger now than it was. the last couple of westeds that i have bought have run a smige aboc $400. would now be a good time to get a slight "discount"?

I'm certainly not an expert but Westeds are the cheapest I've seen them this year after factoring in the currency exchange.

I certaintly hope that the $400,- you mentioned included shipping, taxes and the like. According to the calculations I've done, I think that you might see a minor discount as the jackets now range between $185 and $250 - NOT INCLUDING shipping etc.

By the way, the £ is also weaker/lower/cheaper than it has been in ages. That, and a stronger $, should by default make the jacket cheaper for you...

Regards
Emiliussen

PS: Don't base your purchase on my calculations - I MIGHT BE VERY, VERY WRONG!! ;-)

Too bad Tony Nowak doesn't live in Australia or somewhere with an exchange like that, so that the Dollar goes the opposite way.

Current exchange rate makes like-for-like purchases approximately 25% cheaper than about 6 months ago.

We had a good couple of years, not it's your turn! :? :)
