Anyone finding Todd's shirts too short?

Bags, Boots, Shirts and all other gear should be discussed here.

Anyone finding Todd's shirts too short?

Post by Raider S »

First the Todd's is a beautiful shirt; nice fabric, good quality, etc. So I reccomend it highly.

But, I find it to be way too short in the body. I'm just shy of 6' but can't see how this would be long enough for anyone over 5'8" or 5'9". The sleeves weren't so bad but the length on the sides was way short.

Had to believe they don't have a tall size in these because I know there must be a lot of folks who must be wanting these with an extra couple of inches. It's one of the shortest shirts I've ever had.

Yeah, sold mine and went with Magnoli. Nothing better than tailor made! :)

I agree 100%. It's a great shirt, but he needs to either offer more size options (i.e. long sizes) or just make the regular lengths a little longer. I started a poll about the length of the shirts here, and PMed Todd, hoping he might get a clue and offer more options. I haven't heard anything back.

I must be in the minority, because Todd's shirt fits me perfectly, length-wise.

Well, you're in a large minority, but yes, a minority. I really hope he does offer longer shirts soon, cause I'd jump at the chance to snatch a couple longs so I could wear them with the sleeves rolled down. As it is, I've got to roll it up past the elbows. There isn't even enough material for me to do a SA sleeve roll.

I found it to be a tad longer than I like. If it were a hair shorter I'd untuck it sometimes for a more comfort. As it is I wear it tucked in 100% of the time.

That said, it's a great shirt. Especially for the money

hmmm...if it's made the way like the movie, don't you have to be rather fit? The people here who said it doesn't fit, about how tall are you, what size did you order, and how much do you weight? I was going to buy one myself eventually but I wonder how fit you have to be. I am 6'3" and 175 so I wonder...

Todd's shirts were made to be on the short-side deliberately......it's supposed to be "SA" that way. My Magnoli's fit 100X better.

I just checked the Todd's compared to other dress shirts in my closet. Todd's is by far the shortest in the front with the back being closer to what the front of a couple of the others are. Most of my shirts are size large and some Xlarge.

I don't have a beer belly and my shirt was loose fitting (too loose). My Todd's is an XXL because I wanted the extra length those usually have and figured I could live with some bagginess or have it taken in.

I'm 5' 11" and around 170 pounds and his size large shirt fits me great. It has a tapered waist and is a little shorter than my dress shirts, but I understand that's by design.

My first generation Todd's is much shorter than my newest Todd's. I don't experience any problems w/ the newer shirt.

I'm 6'3" and 195 lbs. I ordered a large. It fits great around the body, but the body and sleeves need to be longer (sleeves especially).

IndyFalco, how much longer are his newer run of shirts? Also, if you don't mind, what's your height/weight/size you ordered?
