Keppler Holster Newly Distressed-Close your eyes Michaelson!

Post by Dalexs »

Some may remember that i was one of the first to receive Lees newly recolored holster at the end of last year. It was a darker brown with burgundy tones. Well, there were mixed reactions from many here and with some nice weather and time on my hands I decided to give it alittle
MK style TLC...

The first one is the way it looked when I first got it.
The second if after in progress and of course the final product
AFTER I applied a nice coating of Pecards.
(Open your eyes now Michaelson!).

I thini it came out pretty good and am much happier with the "worn" look.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programs...

Looks Great! Did you use sandpaper at all? Or just Acetone and Pecards?

Lee's new colored holster looks a lot like mine after I dyed it cordovan. I gave the whip holder the same treatment.

I should also have mentioned that I believe the dark brown/burgundy was short lived and that Lee has gone back to the original natural color for his holsters.

There seem to be a few posts lately that Michaelson shouldn't look at...you know he's going to!!! (Or is that the point?)
