My Wested washed lambskin SPECIAL EDITION is here....

I agree that that isn't the washed lamb. I recently got my ROLA special though and I really prefer it to the washed lamb (not knocking that hide though as it's nice too) so it might be a happy accident. I washed it to knock the sheen off and I think it's now my favorite (until the next one).
Like has been said, it's your call but I think I'd keep it. It looks great.

Thanks Kt Templar, I will send Peter an e-mail. However since the weekend is here, I probably won't get a response until Monday or Tuesday.
It does look like a nice jacket, and I do like it. Maybe I'll keep it as a dress jacket. I do think I was charged for the washed lamb, and if I got a reg lamb, could I use the refund to help pay for another jacket?

just make sure to return it if they send you a regular goat on the next go round ;-)jnicktem wrote:It's about a $20 difference.
I've been wanting a washed goat, so that might have to be my everyday wear jacket. And I will just keep this one for the dressier moments.
like i said, wested's lamb is beautiful......for chrome tanned leather
Ah, I just found another piece to the puzzle. I discovered an invoice, and it says I was charged $150 for the jacket, and $20 for shipping, bringing my total to $170.
However, according to my bank account, they charged me $299.05.
So there is obviously a BIG difference from what I ordered and paid for to what I got.
I am not mad, I know mistakes happen. I really like the jacket I got and I am pretty glad I got it. So hopefully Peter can take $129.05 off of my next jacket purchase...
I did e-mail him (before the invoice was found) and told him the problem, so I will wait and see what conclusion he comes to.

Your jacket is regular lambskin auth. brown. I suggest you to keep this jacket, as it's a better colour than washed lamb. And, 299 $ is the right price of this jacket, it's impossible you paid 170 $ only... ;-) Probably 170 is the price in pounds (should be 165, to be exact.)

Peter is usually in the office all saturday. We a on GMT +1 British summer time.
Currently it's about 23:40.
I'd hazard a guess and say phoning at 9 am your time would be reasonable.

Yes, but he received a regular lambskin, not a washed. I have both, and prefer the regular, so I suggest to keep that beautiful jacket. Just MO.bigrex wrote:The washed lamb color looks really ideal to me. Not too light, not too dark, not too oversaturated, or washed out, and just about the right shade. You have chosen wisely.

I was talking to you Indiana Strones and looking at your photos of the washed lamb. ;-)Indiana Strones wrote:Yes, but he received a regular lambskin, not a washed.
