buttons on wested pants

Post by tunic »

I purchased a pair of Wested pants and I love them don't get me wrong. But the buttons on the back pockets are like a horn color. I really think that the buttons should be like the buttons on the fly of the pants. Kind of like a military button . Am I right or am I wrong?

Huh? My Wested pants have brown buttons on the front AND the back. Are you saying that yours are different in front and in back?

I have the same thing as tunic and I think they should be the same allround. However buttons are easy to replace if it's really bothering you.

Yes I was thinking the same Bullitt. I will change the buttons as soon as I find new ones that are SA. Thanks for your help. I didn't know if there was pants like the ones I have in one of the movies. Thanks again.

It's one of those things that really doesn't show on film and publicity shots don't usually focus on his butt!

The one example we have seen has bone buttons on the fly and on the pocket, the pocket button is bigger than the fly ones.

Obviously this has not migrated to the Wested pants yet, but it may well do.

KT, what colour would you say these buttons are in real life? the reflection of all that light in them makes it a bit hard to make out in those pictures. Your statement about bone buttons lead me to expect an ivory like tone, but in those pics they seem to have an olive-ish heu to them.

Ivory, with waves through them. Horn basically. Might be real horn, might be imitation.
