Herbert-Johnson's Replix hat back?

Post by Erri »

I didn't seem to see any thread about this but has anyone noticed on ebay a certain user called replix-de selling Indiana Jones Herbert-Johnsons?

I can't post ebay auctions but it's easy to find. Just look for the seller and you'll find it. Is there any known presently re-opening of the Replix offer?

Ah, there's my old hat! Funny how often I see that pic crop up!
Yes, Replix is offering HJs again. I noticed this on a german forum and checked out the website again to see if it was true.

Off topic but... Erri you really need to get some of that swoop out of your brim. It's WAY to much  Put it on a flat surface, cover with a thin cloth and iron (no steam) at full heat for a few secs. Let dry and you'll be set

I kinda liked the swoop Marc :P , anyway I don't think it's so extreme anymore, that's an old picture. Here is another from that same day http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y157/erri_wan/C_2.jpg which apears less severe

Back on topic
just for the record I post the link to the website

http://www.replix.de/shop/product_info. ... 4548abb6ef

Anyone has bought one yet? Since when are they back? Do they reblock them? Just curious

It was actually intended to be a raven bar hat. Thanks for the compliment :D

Hmm I remember how these used to be available...one of the better options before Adventurebilt came along...how do they hold up against the current offerings? :junior: -M

probably like any hj felt...soft, floppy and close to the raiders felt. unfortunately this would be inferior to probably every other offering here :P

i'm curioius how much shrinkage it still has left in her and how they've managed to change the blockshape. are they doing it or is hj doing it for them.
